anyone else who think these blacksheep-modding MFs look a little to big in scale? (or is it the other way)
their is scaling issues on the 3000
there's no problem thay are like that in real life
The scaling is quite a bit off, the larger 3000 series such as 3120 upwards start to get lot larger than the 300. where as the small 3000 series 3090 downwards aren't much larger, although they are taller due to the more comfortably cab.
If you look at actual figures. They are nearly 2ft in length difference and just under 1ft height difference. The 399 is actually out of scale.
The cabs on the 3000s are too tall, I've said it all along.
I'm not sure of the 399 scale as never had one, only a 390t which is same height although shorter in length. bsm 3000series scale does seem off as I've driven plenty and don't remember them being as tall as the game one, but great mod pack none the less and it is a game after all . and in my biased more red is always good lol
the 399 should be roughly similar height to the ford 40 series such as 7840/8340 which in game it is. the 3000 series is a bit taller in real life but in game is way taller, in fact almost the height of the massey 7400 series which in real life a 3090 is closer to a foot or so shorter. but could be wrong I'm only going of ones we had which are gone now apart from a rough 3125
Giants have been accurate since when?
ha i'll give u that one ;)
Bsm massey pack is out of scale, rushed and poor details, sadly. shame they destroyed that pack if you ask me. It probably killed of the 3000 series in mattxjs poll for the classic dlc. then we would have a great massey 3000 and 300.
The 3000 series bonnets are the wrong shape aswell. i guess they were just taking from the 600s in the pack and reskinned, and there seems to be not differnces in lengh on them between the 4 pots in the pack and the 6 pots. saying that i still enjoy using them. I havent tried the 300s yet and am looking forward to giving them a go
am I missing something here? reading these comments, how can you argue with facts. But then if you're not happy with the scale, don't use them. However, you'll find BSm made their models in a lot less time, have more features. Where as the NI Modding model is around 3 years old and has next to nothing. Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe it's because I'm not a farmer.
Well if you look at another fact site ( konedata.net) you see that the 399 with cab is pretty damn near the same height as the 3070, i think tractordata height for the 399 was with a rollbar and not cab.
However when you say there is some fault in lengt too i blame the 4/6 cylinder thing that blacksheep modding didnt care about at all, otherwise the bsm pack is great but the scaling seems wrong
xblur, Bsm mods are rushed, and the mf pack for the contest did get badly rushed, even stole from mattxjs massey from contest 2015.
Well not much more features on bsm? hydralic sounds when opening doors and windows.
The pc version for the mf300 pack will get their ic and stuff in a script mod in the near future.
the mods bsm are ok. And they are doing a good job. just wished they could put a little more time into them.
You don't need to wait for IC for this current mod. But either way, does it really matter what was taken, shared, rushed etc. Least some people are releasing mods, freely for us to use. If you're not happy, then maybe make your own? But I don't know how something can be compared when they are completely different models in general. If you feel it's too big, don't use it.
Yeah man I use them both and I like them both but there is still one thats been better done, and why is it forbidden to give response to mods and show what could be changed or improved.
forbidden? it isn't forbidden. however my comment was towards Berseskir92.
Well what i know for real is that the bonnet on the 3090 is about 160 - 170 cm tall whit wheels cause we had one
I do like the BSM MF pack, love the round baler. But there are quite a few things wrong, such as the floor mounted 3 stick gear change on the 3000 series which I don't believe was ever made. But they are still good mods and I enjoy using them very much.
