By using our forum, you agree to our Forum Rules, as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If at any time you wish to opt-out, you can remove your account from this website by going to your profile page and selecting Delete this account from the left-hand menu, or emailing [email protected]

Forum Rules

1. Don’t be mean
No swearing or flaming, no sexual references, no racism, ageism or sexism. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything, just log off.

2. Report bad content
Leave the moderating to the moderators. If it’s all kicking off, or you come across some bad content, just click the report button - every moderator will get an email about the troublemaker.

3. No advertising
Don’t try and make a million by linking everyone to your advertising, affiliate or pyramid schemes.

4. Post in English
O at least provide an English translation of what you’re saying. It’s a UK forum, we all talk English. Help us help you.

5. No Guns.
No images or discussion about guns, please.

6. Create only one account.
Duplicate accounts will be removed.

7. No illegal file sharing.
We do not support or condone the sharing of any pirated software, this includes any games (including Farming Simulator), DLC Packs or any other type of software.

Helpful Hints

1. Use the search function before you create a topic to check for duplicate topics.

2. Write a proper title for your post, and write a proper subject if you message someone. You’re more likely to get a good reply.

3. Don’t bump threads from many years ago - just start a new one instead.

4. Don’t start rant/moan topics without a solution to the problem. Try and have a mature attitude when starting a discussion, it’s more likely to turn into a interesting debate than a childish flamewar.

5. Don’t share your account with anyone or give your password out. This WILL get you in trouble if the person you share your account with breaks the rules.

6. Don't nag. Nagging modders with mod requests or for release dates is really immature.

7. Respect privacy. If you share someone's private mod, and they ask us to remove it, we will.

8. Be polite and friendly to each other, treat others as you would expect to be treated - we're all human, even the staff!

9. Support topics are for support with a mod. Just ask questions you need an answer to. No off-topic discussion.

10. WIP topics are for Work In Progress mods. If you haven't even started, what’s the point in posting a WIP topic? Use common sense, get something to show people, then show it.

11. If you're banned, and you think you should be unbanned, give us an email at [email protected].

12. If you want to change your username please contact a moderator or administrator via the private message function.

Upload Guidelines

  • - Try to check the mod has not already been uploaded.
  • - Make sure you select the right download category.
  • - Check and double check your mod before uploading for things like log errors, mistakes etc. Perhaps get some friends to help you test it.
  • - Include a video of your mod if possible.

  • - Be as descriptive and detailed as possible.
  • - The description should be in English, as over 80% of our audience only speak English.
  • - Include any special instructions required to use the mod.
  • - Specify what features the mod has, what crops it supports.
  • - List any extra mods that are required for it to work correctly, also add links if possible.

  • - Screenshots should be clear and in good lighting. 12:00 noon gives the best light in-game.
  • - Please don't update text-only images, title cards, logos etc.
  • - Maps should include a PDA map image, too.
  • - The thumbnail image should be square, preferably 256 x 256 pixels.
  • - Screenshots should be full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) if possible for best user experience.
  • - The screenshot you decide to use for the cover image should be at least 1920 pixels wide.
  • - If you want to do a dedicated cover image you can use this template - It's 1900x440px.
  • - For cover images of maps, consider taking a wide angled image (use console command "gsSetFOV 100") to best show the scenery on wide screens.
  • - If your mod cannot be demonstrated with a screenshot (for example, it's part of another mod, a script or a sound file) use symbols to demonstrate what your mod or file actually does. Imagine if someone didn't speak English, how would they understand what your mod/file actually does?

  • - Always credit the correct authors of the mod and any assets included with it.
  • - If the mod is not yours make sure you have asked permission to upload the mod.
  • - Make sure you have permission to share the mod if it's not yours.
  • - Avoid uploading assets from other games.
  • - Unless the original author allows it, always specify the original link.
  • - If the mod is not yours, always respect the wishes of the original author.

For "original link" mods, avoid using these websites:

Your mod will be subject to review by our staff members and (if applicable) our test team to ensure quality control. This can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a few days depending on the complexity, staffing levels, etc.

Once your mod is published, you can change the details, images and other things in the "My Mods" section of the mods page. If you need to upload a new version of your mod, you must create a new upload. If you notify us, we can redirect your old mod page to your new version.

Please remember, proper communication helps our system to run smoothly. If you have any questions or queries about your upload, feel free to message a member of staff or a tester, and they will point you in the right direction Smiley

   Testing Criteria for Farming Simulator Mods

           1 Pass Criteria for gold standard mods
                  Gold standard mods must meet the following:

                       - No errors or performance warnings;
                       - Store item has correct brand, description, image, price, category;
                       - All features working as described;
                       - No excessive/unplayable  physics glitches (Jumping, twitching, sliding, etc);
                       - No excessive/unplayable model, texture or animation glitches;
                       - 100% Multiplayer compatibility;
                       - Scale is "reasonable" (discretion needed);
                       - Maps must have a top down view (PDA map) image included in the upload images.

           2 Silver standard mods
                - Mods that don't quite meet the criteria for gold standard, but still work in game, are known as silver standard
                  mods. Some warnings in the log are fine for silver standard, but any errors and it will fail. Maps without a top
                  down view (PDA map) in the uploaded images are also a fail.

           3 Fictional Mods/Re-skins

                  -  Mods that have been re-skinned to another manufacturer will not be accepted if said
                      manufacturer does not actually manufacture that particular piece of equipment;
                  -  Mods that do not exist in reality but can be considered as "Prototype" mods will be accepted as
                      long as they do not become to unrealistic.

                  Uploaded mods must also comply with the Upload Rules

           4 Testing Duration

                 -  Mods, which includes everything apart from maps, will be tested and approved/declined
                     within 24-48 hours of them being uploaded;

                 -  Maps will be tested and approved/declined within a week of being uploaded.  Maps take
                     a longer time to fully test compared to normal mods and due to this more time is required
                     to check all parts of a map.

           5 External mods
                  -  If you have your mod uploaded to another site you can upload it here using the original link. This means the
                     mod won't be tested by fs uk. However, mods must still meet the Upload Rules  and the links must not go to
                     websites such as BLOCKED WEBSITE 23, sharemods etc, basically websites with 18+ advertising on the way to the
